“What can you say about working with a legend like Tim Armstrong? As an artist and musician he is completely in a league of his own. Recording the live version of ‘Breaking News‘ with Tim was everything a punk recording should be; Fast, Live, and Real. We hit it off right away and getting him to shoot the video in that classic black and white Rancid style was icing on the cake.”

“Working with Craig Stecyk on the ‘Peace Pipe‘ video was the first fit and a dream come true. The feel of the song matches Craig’s aesthetic perfectly and honestly just being around him is very inspiring. His style and vision will always be completely original and unique. They just don’t make ‘em like CRS anymore!”

The Bronx Premiere New Song “Mexican Summer”

The Bronx have premiered a new song titled “Mexican Summer.” This track is from the band’s new album “Bronx VI,” which will be released on August 27. Frontman Matt Caughthran commented:

“Musically and lyrically, ‘Mexican Summer‘ is the most The Bronx has ever directly influenced by Mariachi el Bronx. The feel and groove of the song speak to you in rhythm, as the story of one man’s paradise lost burns violently into the night.”

In other news, the group have also teamed up with filmmaker Craig Stecyk to create a new skateboard featuring artwork inspired by the track. Only 225 are available and more details can be found at juicemagazine.com.

The Bronx Premiere “Curb Feelers” Music Video

The Bronx have premiered a new video for their new song “Curb Feelers.” This track is from the band’s new album “Bronx VI,” which will be released on August 27. It will also be available as a limited edition 7 inch. Matt Caughthran commented:

“Every Bronx record has a backbone track, a sonic anchor that sets the tone for the entire album. ‘Curb Feelers‘ is the rock that the rest of the record breaks itself against.”

The Bronx Premiere New Song “Watering The Well”

The Bronx have premiered a new song titled “Watering The Well.” This track is from the band’s new album “Bronx VI,” which will be released on August 27. It will also be available as a limited edition 7 inch.

Matt Caughthran commented

“‘Watering The Well‘ is equal parts rock n roll rendezvous and back alley Bronx beatdown! With an opening riff that doubles as a call to the wild and a rhythm section dirtier than the Detroit gutter, listening to this song after midnight will 100% get you arrested.”

In other news, the group have also teamed up with Fall Brewing Company to create “Watering The Well” beer. Notably, the band will be celebrating the launch of that beverage during an event at the brewery’s San Diego, CA location on May 29. They said the following about the beer:

“We also teamed up with Fall Brewing Company and created a beer around the song! The can even has a sonic QR code so you can listen to the track while you drink it! Liquid music!…”

The Bronx Premiere New Song “Superbloom”

The Bronx have premiered a new song titled “Superbloom.” This track is from the band’s new album “Bronx VI,” which will be released on August 27. It is also available as a limited edition 7 inch. Matt Caughthran commented:

“‘Superbloom‘ is a sonic search for deeper meaning. Musically, the song originated from our bass player Brad Magers, his first official offering on a Bronx Record. The chorus was co-written with Joby Ford, so there is a very unique push/pull that takes place for the first time in Bronx history. Lyrically, the song is about a day I spent lost in the California wildflowers with an old friend. Reflecting on the past in a somewhat desperate attempt to make sense of the present. A very inspired song and one of my favorites on the record.”
