Soen Share Footage Of “Fortune” From Upcoming Live Release “Atlantis”

Soen have shared footage of “Fortune” from their upcoming live release “Atlantis.” The set, which features an eight-piece orchestra, was filmed at Atlantis Grammofon Studio in Stockholm, Sweden on December 10, 2021 and it will be available on November 18, 2022. The group commented:

“‘Fortune‘ is a song about getting beaten up by life, falling down again and again, but getting back up regardless. In this specific case, it is about seeing a loved one face the obstacles that you have faced, letting them know that things will eventually get better and that you have got their back no matter what.”

Soen Share Video For Live Cover Of Slipknot’s “Snuff”

Soen have shared a new video for their live cover of Slipknot’s “Snuff.” The footage is taken from the band’s upcoming live release “Atlantis.” The set, which features an eight-piece orchestra, was filmed at Atlantis Grammofon Studio in Stockholm, Sweden on December 10, 2021 and it will be available on November 18, 2022. The group said the following about the cover:

“We wanted to do something extra special during the Atlantis concert. The obvious path would have been to pick an epic progressive song from the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc. Instead, we went for the opposite with ‘Snuff’, a scaled down and brutally honest song that we all love in its powerful sincerity.”

Soen Share Footage Of “Trials” From Upcoming Live Release “Atlantis”

Soen have shared footage of “Trials” from their upcoming live release “Atlantis.” The set, which features an eight-piece orchestra, was filmed at Atlantis Grammofon Studio in Stockholm, Sweden on December 10, 2021 and it will be available on November 18, 2022.

The band commented:

“Freedom is not to be taken for granted. Modern society is built to entertain us and keep us passive, forgetting about the important things in life. We have to be aware of what we really value in our lives. The great masses are taken advantage of by a few wolves of wealth, many of whom we put in power ourselves or pay monthly subscription fees to. ‘Trials‘ talks about the desperation and anger of knowing that society is unfair and that we all contribute to something we’re against just by existing.”

02. “Lunacy”
03. “Monarch”

“This is something we have had in our minds for a very long time but never had the chance to bring to fruition till now… We always felt that our songs have the potential of working under different arrangements and wanted to try something different, with a quartet and a choir; leaving out all the technical aspects and just focusing on the raw emotion of the songs… The postponement of our November dates gave us the opportunity to finally go for it, I’m extremely happy with the outcome and I know our audience will appreciate to see Soen this way.”

Daniele Zed Berretta, who produced the video, added:

“Time in the story goes backwards, to show us what happened before, and who the burnt man really is. Beneath it all, lies the concept of mankind repeating the same mistakes over and over again.”

It’s about the frustration of feeling powerless but also the hope in realizing that things can be changed for the better. If we stop criticizing each other and making enemies of ourselves by blindly following the ideas of politicians and their media.”
