During a recent interview with Two Doods Reviews, Shinedown’s Brent Smith revealed that the band are “nine songs into the writing process” for their new album. He also added: “We’re in the demo process at the moment — we’re just writing.” [via Blabbermouth]
Shinedown have donated $250,000 to Direct Relief as part of their “Atlas Falls” fundraiser. This includes their initial $20,000 donation and the first check from the campaign, which is equal to $230,000. The band will continue the fundraiser, which has raised more than $300,000 so far.
