He will be filling in for Ben Koller (Coverge, etc.), who recently broke his elbow. Ben Koller (Converge, Mutoid Man, etc.) was involved in a “freak accident” that left him with a broken elbow. A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to help him with “accruing medical bills – as well as the impending loss of steady income through touring, writing and recording.” [via The PRP]
As part of “Two Minutes To Late Night”, Mutoid Man tried to perform video game covers at the New York Comic Con, but they got kicked out before they could even start. However, the band and the show’s host Gwarsenio Hall did end up performing outside the venue. You can see footage of that below:

Mutoid Man have shared a cover of Little Richard‘s “Keep A-Knockin’.“ Their version, which is called “Keepa Gnawkin,“ is the third track from the band’s new covers EP, which is now available via Bandcamp. That effort also features a cover of Tom Jones’ “She’s A Lady” and a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Communication Breakdown”.
