Gemini Syndrome Premiere “Die With Me” Video

Gemini Syndrome have premiered a new video for their new song “Die With Me.” This track is expected to appear on the band’s upcoming album.

Frontman Aaron Nordstrom commented:

“23, Shakespeare, The divine wedding of yin and yang… ‘Die With Me’ is an invitation for the listener to come along on the journey of self-discovery with us, which ultimately leads to the death of the lower self and the resurrection of the higher self. Lao Tzu said, ‘The one created the two, the two created the three, and then came the 10,000 things.’ 2 and 3 respectively correspond to the male and female energies. 2 being a single line and 3 being a triangle or vessel. Therefore 23 signifies the merging of the seemingly opposite energies of male and female.”

“The video for ‘Die With Me’ shows a different side of death than we’ve shown before. Even though we’re all fatally wounded in some way, we’re still performing and extending our invitation. Maybe the girl is performing a ritual to help our souls cross the river styx? Or to keep us animated in our now, dead state.”

Drummer Brian Steele Medina added:

“In our life we have many deaths, and many reincarnations, and these experiences transform us into a more complete version of our true self… Though while we’re going through it, it’s often uncomfortable, painful, and we tend to avoid these spiritual growth spurts because we’re more comfortable sitting in our pain and shit, than walking through it. So, after we’ve walked through enough of these challenges, we might seek out that person, or tribe whose combined experience could help each other traverse that path to transmutation.”

“Our video for ‘Die With Me’ is designed for the watcher to be exposed to certain signs and symbols and evoke a spiritual experience. It depicts a young initiate performing a ritual at her sacred altar. The blindfold symbolizes that her quest for truth must begin within. She contemplates time, and she laments death and learns that time is an illusion. She scribes the language of her heart as she cries out to the Universe, (Uni-Verse = The One Song.) And we’re all dead, so that’s cool too.”

Gemini Syndrome Premiere “IDK” Video

Gemini Syndrome have premiered a new video for their new song “IDK.” This track is expected to appear on the band’s upcoming album.

Aaron Nordstrom commented:

“‘IDK’ plays with the double entendre, ‘I decay’ and ‘IDK’ (I don’t know) to illustrate the Voltaire quote, ‘The more I read, the more I acquire, the more certain I am that I know nothing.'”

Brian Steele Medina added:

“‘IDK’ opens the door to the idea that we have to be willing to discard our old ideas and identity to give space for new ideas to grow and allow a more evolved identity to flourish. The last thing we want to do is to get stuck in old patterns of thought and behavior. This is an essential principal as we progress through the various degrees of the initiatory traditions.”

Gemini Syndrome Premiere “Reintegration” Video

Gemini Syndrome have premiered a new video for their new song “Reintegration.” This track is the first single from the band’s upcoming album.

Aaron Nordstrom commented:

“Our video for ‘Reintegration’ tells the story of an initiate’s journey as he travels through the various stages of initiation. We follow him as he walks away from his past in an effort to find himself by facing and overcoming various trials and tribulations, until he ultimately ascends to the highest version of himself.”

Brian Steele Medina continued:

“We worked with director Brian Cox again, who is a good friend and a visionary artist, who also happens to be stuck in U.K. due to quarantine restrictions. These unique times forced us to get creative. Between shooting the live band shots in the U.S., animations done in Portugal, rendered in Russia, and edited in UK, this ended up being a worldwide collaboration.”

Cox added:

“The video for ‘Reintegration’ allowed me to re-connect with my inner layers, distortions and glitches, reestablishing my continued search of artistic clarity. 2020 has been a force to allow us to think outside of the box. Directed all the way from my studio in England, band performance shot on location in the U.S., animations created in Portugal… this video truly is a worldwide collaboration.”

Gemini Syndrome Premiere “Sorry Not Sorry” Music Video

Gemini Syndrome have premiered a new video for their song “Sorry Not Sorry,” via Loudwire. This song is from the band’s latest album, “Memento Mori,” which is available now.

The band commented:

“Our video for ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ tells the story about a husband and wife who have lost themselves in vanity and greed. The song ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ shines a light on the collective mental illness that our society seems to be infected with. Now more than ever, it’s so easy to lose ourselves in a false virtual reality that glorifies materialism and self-seeking satisfaction. We’ve become ironic memes of ourselves, social zombies lost in our devices, where tangible human interaction has become unnecessary and burdensome. We’re desensitized from only seeing others and ourselves through self-imposed filters. It’s time to wake up from the spell and look ourselves, and each other, in the eye.”
