The band said the following:

“After many tough conversations and careful consideration, we have decided to move forward without our frontman James Hart. As a band, we want to continue to tour and make albums on a full time basis. Where James is at in his life and career, he was no longer able to make the same commitment the rest of us were willing to make. We completely understand and respect his decision to step away and have his full support to continue on with Burn Halo. Our long time friend T.J. Chopelas will be taking over as the new lead singer for Burn Halo. We are excited for the future and looking forward to seeing all of our fans on the road this summer. We love you all and appreciate your continued support.”
