  • Castiel Premiere “Act III: Vile Spirits” Video

    Castiel have premiered a new video for their new song “Act III: Vile Spirits.” This track is from their new EP, “All Returns To Hollow And Silence,“ which will be released on July 24. The group commented:

    “‘Act III‘ shifts the focus from emotional pain to inner numbness and a final separation from all things human. Relationships are severed, memories are cast aside, and emotions are controlled or erased. The ‘crown of nothingness’ symbolises the acceptance of this inner emptiness and the loss of personal bonds.”

  • Malevolence’s Alex Taylor To Miss Immediate Shows Due To Emergency Surgery

    Malevolence vocalist Alex Taylor recently underwent emergency surgery. As such, he will be missing the band’s immediate live shows.

    Taylor said the following:

    “Yo everyone,

    First of all, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has checked in/ sent a nice message over the last 24 hours. They were all really appreciated!

    I ended up having to have an emergency operation yesterday, and the good news is the operation went well and I’m being discharged today.

    Unfortunately it does mean that I won’t be able to play the final shows of our summer tour as I’m told I need to rest up and heal.

    MALEVOLENCE will still be playing these remaining shows! The lads have kindly agreed to step up and finish this tour without me and we will enlisting the help of some friends to make sure these shows are as sick as they can possibly be! As always the crowd is an integral part of any Malevolence performance so I’m counting on you lot to go down and set it the fuck off!

    I’ll be back on my feet in no time, love to you all”

  • Eric “E-Force” Forrest To Fill In For Denis “Snake” Bélanger On Voivod’s European Tour

    Voivod will be reuniting with former vocalist/bassist Eric “E-Force” Forrest during their European tour. He will be filling in for frontman Denis “Snake” Bélanger.

    The band commented:

    “Eric Forrest (aka E-Force) to the rescue as Denis Bélanger (aka Snake) needs to attend to a family matter this summer.

    E-Force from 1994 to 2000 was the lead singer and bass player for the formidable power trio years of Voïvod. Upon return from a successful UK/Ireland tour with festivals in Iceland, Netherlands and Spain, Snake received news that weighed heavily on him and needed to make a very tough decision.

    The band unanimously agreed that family matters most and were set to cancel the upcoming run of summer European shows from July 10 to August 16, when Snake suggested perhaps the band could carry on if E-Force was available and interested. After all, Eric is part of the Voïvod family and is actively performing, but dealing with his own health issues.

    Once reached, Eric was beyond flattered, and said he’d be able to clear his schedule and his health was in check.

    A set list has been worked out. Rocky, Chewy and Away look forward to performing with E-Force and will be thinking of Snake. The show will go on and the Cosmic Voïvod Multiverse keeps expanding.

    We are Connected!”

    Forrest added:

    “Greetings to all! I am honoured and blessed to be asked to fill in for Snake this summer, to keep the Voïvod fans, band, legacy in motion!! I’m very thrilled to be part of this tour. I never ever imagined this, but I’m happy and motivated to step in and take care of business…Can’t wait to see you all! Merci, santé”

  • Savage Hands Premiere New Song “It’s Me”

    Savage Hands have premiered a new song titled “It’s Me.” Vocalist Mike Garrow commented:

    “Coming from a family of divorce, I was forced to see failure with love at a young age. I think that’s where the trouble stems from and I wanted to capture that essence of being scared to try. A lot of people may experience a relationship when it’s going great and there’s only 2 ways to go from there…forever or it doesn’t work out. This is from that in-between point where you have to put 2 feet in or get out. Trying to trust in everything you’re afraid of while putting it all out there is really hard to do, but 100% necessary when you know you’ve found the one.”

  • Ice Nine Kills Premiere “Play Dead” Music Video

    Ice Nine Kills have partnered with the video game “Dead By Daylight” for a new song titled “Play Dead.” A video for the track featuring Devon Sawa (“Final Destination”, “Chucky”), pro-skater Tony Hawk, and actress/musician Krsy Fox (Knee High Fox) can be found below. Notably, cosmetics inspired by the band will also be available in “Dead By Daylight.”

    Frontman Spencer Charnas commented:

    “Ice Nine Kills has always lived somewhere between menace and mischief. ‘Play Dead,’ our take on ‘Dead by Daylight,’ is a collision of hooks, horror, and total chaos. As lifelong horror fans, we find it surreal and an absolute honor to have Ice Nine Kills’ music officially tied to ‘Terrifier,’ ‘Scream,’ ‘Ready or Not,’ and now, the iconic survival horror game ‘Dead by Daylight.’

    Collaborating with ‘Dead by Daylight’ gave us the chance to step into a world that feels deeply aligned with our creative instincts. The game has an incredible legacy, and that chaotic, eerie, immersive energy is something we respect and admire. We wanted the song to feel like a real extension of that universe, not just inspired by it, but genuinely part of it.

    We worked closely with longtime composer Michel F. April to ensure every detail, from the atmosphere to the intensity, felt true to the game, and we spent time on set with ‘Dead by Daylight’ creatives Mathieu Cote and Eric Pope, as well as player experts like SpookyLoopz.

    The video also features iconic genre star Devon Sawa. He’s one of my favorite actors, from ‘Idle Hands’ and ‘Final Destination’ to literally playing ‘Stan’ in the Eminem video. And we’ve got Krsy Fox, one of the new modern horror scream queens, who not only had a showstopping performance in ‘Terrifier 3,’ but is a kickass indie horror film producer, too.

    Having Tony Hawk appear with us felt essential because he isn’t just the Michael Jordan of skateboarding. He’s synonymous with the marriage of music, gaming, and subculture. We bonded over the same offbeat pop-culture touchstones, from punk rock to the irreverent ’80s comedies like ‘The Naked Gun’ that shaped my brain just as much as horror did.

    And of course, Dingbar Tarbani slithered in to make things even stranger.”

  • Colorblind Premiere “Chemical Warfare” Video

    Colorblind have premiered a new video for their new song “Chemical Warfare.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold,” which will be released on August 28. Vocalist Travis Moseley commented:

    “‘Chemical Warfare’ is about the war between who you are and who you believe you are. When self-perception becomes a weapon, every thought feels like an attack. The song lives in the tension between inherited beliefs and personal truth — the moment you realize the voice tearing you down may not be yours at all.”

  • Behemoth To Take “At Least One Year Off” Following Fall Tour

    Behemoth are planning to go on break following their fall European tour with Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral. According to frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski, they are “looking for at least one year off.”

    Nergal told Tons Of Rock the following about the group’s current live plans:

    “The thing was that we either choose to do a full summer run or we do a proper headlining, co-headlining tour in the fall. And we chose the latter. It’s already been announced — DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH and DARK FUNERAL across Europe, 16 dates. So this is the main focus. So in order not to jeopardize that tour, we just decided to do very selected festivals only in June. So nothing in July or August that would just interfere with those October dates. So just four festivals, big festivals, big slots, and then a full-on production, and then three months nothing, and then the final tour. Because beyond that tour, we plan nothing. So, basically, we wrap that October tour, and BEHEMOTH is on hold.”

    He also futher explained the hiatus:

    “We need to recharge batteries. Basically, we need to rethink rejuvenate, so to say, and for that you need time. So I definitely don’t wanna rush anything. So we’re looking for at least one year off — nothing, no activities. We might be dropping some music. We are releasing a new EP album. It’s 40 minutes of music. So we’re dropping that right before the tour. We’re planning something for the next year as well, some special release. I can’t say much about it now. So there’s gonna be things happening in the BEHEMOTH camp, but there’s gonna be no live activities from us. I have stopped doing interviews for most part as well. So we just wanna chill.”

    Scowl have released a new EP featuring remixes of songs from their latest album “Are We All Angels.” The effort includes Sextile’s remix of “B.A.B.E.” and Machine Girl and Model/Actriz’s remixes of “Special.” Scowl said the following about the updated tracks:
