According to The Salt Lake City Tribune, former The Used guitarist Quinn Allman has filed a lawsuit against the band. He is looking to receive payment from past tours, as well as proceeds from album and merchandise sales, and damages for late/irregular royalty checks. Allman also says the band sent him a termination agreement to remove him from their corporate entities, The Used, LLC and Burning Touring Inc., which he didn’t sign due to it not allowing for severance or control over royalty payments. He now wants to dissolve The Used, LLC and get compensated for damages. You can read more about all that via The Salt Lake City Tribune.
Mike Patton (Faith No More), Buzz Osborne (Melvins), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle) and Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Philm), will be resurrecting their surpergroup, Fantomas, for one 2014 performance. The band will be a part of the first RockOut Fest in Santiago, Chile, on December 6. So, if you live in the area, or feel like traveling, check them out. It should be an interesting performance.
Hi, my name is Caeman Amelio. I am a college student, majoring in Journalism. I am also a huge rock/metal fan. After I finish school I hope to write for a heavy metal magazine, and that is why I am starting this blog. I am going to post news stories dealing with various bands and things associated with rock and metal. I hope you like my work. 🙂 \m/
