Ulysses Owens Jr., a jazz professor at The Julliard School in New York, recently performed a one-take cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” after hearing it for the first time. You can see footage of him adding his own drum parts to the track in the below video from Drumeo:
During a September 15 appearance at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) played a cover of Nirvana‘s “In Bloom” with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. This was reportedly only the second time he’s perfomed the track since Kurt Cobain’s death.
