Pearl Jam have premiered an animated video for their new song “Superblood Wolfmoon.” This track is from the band’s new album “Gigaton,” which will be released on March 27.

Fans Can Preview Pearl Jam’s New Song “Superblood Wolfmoon” By Pointing Their Cellphones At The Moon

Pearl Jam will be releasing a new song titled “Superblood Wolfmoon” on February 19 and fans can preview the track in a unique way. Republic Records have teamed up Powster to create an augmented-reality experience that will play part of the track and show onscreen animations when fans point their cellphones at the moon. You can try that out tonight (February 13) by heading to moon.pearljam.com.

Pearl Jam To Release New Album “Gigaton” In March, Announce North American Tour

Pearl Jam have announced that their new album “Gigaton” will be released on March 27. The cover art features Paul Nicklen’s “Ice Waterfall” photo, which he captured in Svalbard, Norway.

Mike McCready commented:

“Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on ‘Gigaton’ ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
