Sophie Lloyd Shares Music Video For “Fall Of Man” Featuring Trivium’s Matt Heafy

Sophie Lloyd has premiered a new video for her latest single “Fall Of Man.” The track, which features Trivium frontman Matt Heafy, will appear on the guitarist’s upcoming album “Imposter Syndrome.”

Lloyd had the following to say about the clip, which was shot at Trivium’s The Hangar headquarters in Orlando, FL:

“The response to the song so far has been amazing and I am so excited for people to see this video.

Filming with Matt was such a cool experience. As a longtime Trivium fan, it was amazing to see the hub where they create their music and stream from.

Matt was amazing to work with. It was so surreal performing there with him and actually seeing this song come to life.

Our video crew Kal Visuals did an amazing job at taking a performance video to the next level by experimenting with camera rotation which captured the feeling of things spiraling out of control in life sometimes, but fighting through it and not letting these things ‘pull you downwards.'”

Sophie Lloyd has premiered a new song titled “Fall Of Man.” The track, which features Trivium’s Matt Heafy, will appear on the guitarist’s upcoming album “Imposter Syndrome.”

Lloyd commented:

“Working with Matthew K. Heafy has been a dream come true! Trivium have been one of my favorite bands since I was a kid, I used to dye my own Trivium t-shirts and wear them every day.

My co-writer/drummer Christopher Painter and I had a lot of fun experimenting with different time signatures and using some scales that I don’t traditionally use. Also Matt writing and recording the song on Twitch was really cool as we got real-time feedback from fans on what they want to hear. He really elevated the song into a metal masterpiece and I’m so excited for people to hear it!”

Heafy added:

“Sophie Lloyd is an immensely talented force of a musician and songwriter. I recall first seeing Sophie’s guitar playing online and being truly blown away — so having been a fan of Sophie’s for several years, I was honored when asked to guest on an upcoming track. When I learned that Trivium had been a longtime favorite band of Sophie’s, I was humbled and appreciative.”

Trivium’s Matt Heafy To Guest On Sophie Lloyd’s New Song “Fall Of Man”

Trivium’s Matt Heafy will be guesting on Sophie Lloyd’s new song “Fall Of Man.” That track will be released on February 24. A music video will follow on March 3.

Lloyd said the following:

“Hey guys!

My new song “Fall Of Man (feat. Matthew K. Heafy)” will be coming out on the 24th February, and you can pre save it right now! There will also be new merch coming on the 24th too!!

This one was the first song that we managed to get finished on the album, Matt actually recorded the vocals for this one on his Twitch channel! It was so fun watching the process!

Sophie Lloyd has shared a new video for her song “Do Or Die.” The track, which features Nathan James (Inglorious), will appear on her upcoming album “Imposter Syndrome.”

Lloyd commented:

“The response to ‘Do Or Die’ has been amazing, and I love seeing people react to the song. It’s so cool seeing guitarists cover the solos and videos of people having it on in their cars and stuff. It’s so awesome to see all the positive comments and it just makes me so much more excited to release the rest of the songs.”

She also added:

“Working with [fire artist] Lula was amazing, she is such a talented performer, and takes her craft so seriously and is so dedicated. We’ve become such great friends and I’m so excited to see what she’s doing next.”

Sophie Lloyd has shared a new song titled “Do Or Die.” This track features Nathan James (Inglorious) and it will appear on the guitarist’s upcoming album “Imposter Syndrome.”

Lloyd said the following about the new album and song:

“I can finally say that I have new music coming! All my music before was instrumental, so this is a very special release for me as it includes vocals, and some of the people we’ve worked with are people I used to have as posters on my wall as a kid, so it feels very full circle. It’s something that I have been working on before the first lockdown, and to be here talking about it feels amazing.

I am so happy to be sharing my first single from the album with Nathan James. I have been following his music for many years and he just has the most incredible voice and did such an amazing job of bringing this track to life. I’m so grateful he was able to take part! I remember getting the rough vocals back from Nathan while I was away in LA, and we were just blasting it out of the car on the freeway. That’s when I knew this would be the first single to be released from my album.”
