Josh Homme’s Daughter Reportedly Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Him

According to Spin, Camille Homme, the teenage daughter of Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone) and Brody Dalle (The Distillers), has been granted a temporary restraining order against her father. This news comes after Dalle was denied a request to get restraining orders for her and Josh’s young sons, Orrin and Wolf, who accused their father of abuse. Spin shared a summary of Camille’s court order:

“Camille alleges that Homme would punch the steering wheel and cross double yellow lines while driving, that he would mock and belittle her brother Ryder, physically abuse her brothers and threatened to kill himself after Ryder allegedly told their mother, over FaceTime, that he had ‘so many things to tell you about dad.’ She is requesting that Homme is sent to drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Camille also says that she and her brothers are ‘afraid of retaliation’ from their father and that ‘we’re afraid he might hit us or continue to abuse us emotionally.”

Brody Dalle (The Distillers) Files Restraining Orders Against Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) On Behalf Of Their Sons, Judges Deny The Request

According to TMZ, Brody Dalle (The Distillers) recently filed two restraining orders against her ex-husband Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone) on behalf of their young sons, Orrin and Wolf. However, her requests have since been denied by several judges.

Rolling Stone are also reporting that the restraining orders included handwritten accounts of abuse from Orrin and Wolf. Orrin said the following:

“Joshua Homme, myself, and Dean Fertida were sitting on the couch and my dad Joshua Homme reached over and grabbed my private parts even when I told him to stop and kept saying ‘Balls’ over and over.”

Orrin also accused Homme of shoving him, throwing items at him, and hitting him in the head. He continued:

“My dad calls me a liar and a traitor. He calls me fat and tells me that my mom says I’m fat. My dad screams in my face when I’m sleeping and punches the bed. He tells me that he has murdered people.”

“My dad said he was going to murder, shoot, and kill my mom’s boyfriend Gunner. I am scared he is going to hurt to kill them.”

Wolf also shared similar accounts, while adding:

“He is scary. I am scared when I go to Dad’s.”

Homme has denied the allegations with his attorney Susan Wiesner having told Rolling Stone the following:

“The allegations made by Ms. Dalle against Mr. Homme are categorically false. In order to protect the children, we will not be making any further statements.”

Wiesner also issued a separate statement to TMZ:

“Ms. Dalle has previously brought these claims to the police, DCFS, and the presiding judge of the family law court, all of whom have declined to take any action based upon these spurious claims.”

This news comes after Homme and Dalle previously filed restraining orders against each other. It also comes after Homme recently filed a new complaint against Dalle saying that she “currently has [their] children and refuses to return them to [him] for [his] custodial time” and that she “has withheld them from school and is non-responsive as to their whereabouts.” The next hearing is currently scheduled to take place on September 13.

Watch New Videos For “If You Run” & “Move Together” From Josh Homme’s “Desert Sessions”

Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme has shared new videos for “If You Run” and “Move Together” from volumes 11 and 12 of his “Desert Sessions” series. Italian filmmaker Gabriele Fabbro created the clip for “If You Run,“ while Zimbabwean filmmaker Jonathan Samukange created the clip for “Move Together.“

Fabbro said the following about the “If You Run“ video:

“I used to read a lot of news about murders, especially on European newspapers. I remember one in particular that happened in a cornfield. That article came to mind while hearing ‘If You Run.’ With this music video I want to touch themes such as ‘femicide’, ‘chase for justice’, ‘innocent curiosity vs violence’. But on top, I want to play with an existential fear. The fear of being powerless. Every tool in the video, from the shakiness of the handheld shots to the distorted sound of the radio, serves to exaggerate this fear.”

Samukange said the following about the “Move Together“ video:

“I wanted to create a seamless balance between computer graphics and reality. I want my audience to escape into a time capsule, following the tragic love story of Adam and Eve. This idea is completely nuts, but it is also grounded in reality with themes of love, togetherness, collaboration, betrayal, and even brainwashing.”

“The video was inspired by Josh bringing an unknown Libby Grace into the Desert Sessions arena to show her haunting magic to the world. Homme, [Matt] Sweeney and I are some of the only people who have heard Libby’s music, so the idea of them introducing her to the players and recording process lit the fuse. The song lent itself perfectly to the lonesome desert landscape and the spell that the Rancho can cast on anyone that passes through its doors.”
