Crown The Empire Premiere “Immortalize” Music Video

Crown The Empire have premiered a new video for their new song “Immortalize.” Vocalist Andy Leo commented:

“‘Immortalize’ is about the fear of being forgotten once we pass on. It questions mortality, the existence of a higher being, and struggles to find meaning in the inevitable. Time is the only currency that can’t be replaced and there’s no way of ensuring we’ll leave a legacy worth remembering. All we can do is try and make our marks before we’re gone forever.”

Crown The Empire’s removal from the trek is seemingly related to abuse allegations that were leveled against guitarist Brandon Hoover. The alleged victim said the following about those accusations:

“When Brandon stood over me LAUGHING and screaming over and over that I was a cheating slut and he was done with me while I sobbed in the fetal position trying to protect myself because he had already thrown me across the room into a dresser and left me covered in bruises… he had already begun replacing me with the girl he is now dating. He gaslit me entirely for feeling confused and upset when he took me out of his music video in favor of casting “some random girl” who acted weird around me on set until I had to leave for work… it wasn’t until months after our breakup I finally realised who she was and how she was completely part of his life so quickly after we separated. After that incident spanned an entire night, he claimed to black out whilst still conscious and couldn’t remember what he did to me. He begged me to forgive him and promised to quit drinking and get into therapy. I knew I wasn’t safe but I loved him so much I tried to let him change. Two weeks later he was drinking again on tour, lying about it every day to me and telling me how much he was resenting me for being the reason he had to stop (he hadn’t stopped). When he finally admitted it a day before I was to fly out to be with him on tour he expected me to cave like I always had, forgive and accept his violation of my boundaries and “trust” him, and put myself in further danger. Saying I couldn’t take it anymore was the hardest thing I ever had to do because my love was real, the person I felt it for just didn’t exist. He was simply a figment of the manipulation he created to keep me around while I gave over everything I had to him for a year. I truly don’t know how to escape this nightmare. I will never be the same, and he is doing everything in his power to silence me. I’ll probably wake up tomorrow and this account will be gone too. Please follow me on TikTok and Twitter – @bambimaryjane and @downlowbambi He wants me to disappear and I’m starting to feel like I should. Share this if you’re able.”

“We are excited to announce that we’ve recreated our song ‘Johnny’s Revenge‘ with guest features from 3 different bands: Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills, Dave Stephens from We Came As Romans and Craig Owens from D.R.U.G.S.. All of these singers are a part of the era we grew up in and have played a huge role in helping our scene become what it is today.

To celebrate 10 years of our album ‘The Fallout’, we wanted to do something special for the people who’ve stuck with us over the past decade. One of the songs our fans always gravitated towards was ‘Johnny’s Revenge‘, a theatrical piece that’s part of a trilogy we created over the span of 3 albums. We can’t wait for everyone to hear this new version!”
