Blind Guardian Premiere “Life Beyond The Spheres” Music Video

Blind Guardian have premiered a new video for their song “Life Beyond The Spheres.” This track is from the band’s latest album “The God Machine.”

Guitarist André Olbrich commented:

“I’m a big supporter of innovation, to bring the whole music genre forward to something else. Maybe even find a new something that wasn’t there before, I think with ‘Life Beyond the Spheres,’ I knew I wanted to go somewhere in the soundtrack direction. At that time, I was playing cyberpunk, so my inspiration was a little bit cyberpunkish. I tried to bring in a metal soundtrack in a cyberpunk direction, more spacey than we ever did before. Hansi grabbed that feeling and I think now we have a song we never did before, not even close to that kind of genre. I like that, that is a very innovative song, I’m proud of this too.”

Singer Hansi Kürsch added:

“‘Life Beyond the Spheres’ leads us to spaces unknown and places where no man has gone before. It certainly delivers music that is not from this world. There is always hope. This is what the song means to me.”

Blind Guardian Premiere “Architects Of Doom” Music Video

Blind Guardian have premiered a new video for their new song “Architects Of Doom.” This track is from the band’s new album “The God Machine,” which was officially released today (September 2).

Vocalist Hansi Kürsch commented:

“Happy Release Day! Finally, finally, the day has come. Good things come to those who wait… I cannot imagine ever longing that intensely for a release date. You are hopefully already holding the masterpiece in your hands, assuring yourself that we didn’t exaggerate with all our praise beforehand. No fillers, just killers!

‘The God Machine’ is a wholesome Blind Guardian album that will sweeten your coming months, even years. It’s served, bon appétit! ‘The God Machine’ features classic speed metal anthems, epic bangers and ‘Architects Of Doom!’ This song is an epic wrecking ball at its finest. In my opinion, this is the best and most outstanding track of the whole record. Reinvention or a return to ancient virtues, that’s the question.”

Blind Guardian Premiere “Violent Shadows” Music Video

Blind Guardian have premiered a new video for their new song “Violent Shadows.” This track is from the band’s new album “The God Machine,” which will be released on September 2.

Vocalist Hansi Kürsch commented:

“Since our WWW Virtual Wacken Performance, ‘Violent Shadows’ threw a massive, already overpowering shade on the expectations of The God Machine. We were pretty aware of the effects that the number would develop. The message is quite clear in my opinion: We’re able to go straightforward! With the single release, you get a very concise impression of the album’s precision and intensity.

Just one more thing: Everybody who thinks that the wait for the remaining five songs isn’t worth it, is completely wrong! Every single song is a firework and shines even brighter in context. Remember my words, enjoy ‘Violent Shadows’, and pre-order The God Machine. Today, September 2nd’s already yesterday.”

Blind Guardian Premiere “Blood Of The Elves” Music Video

Blind Guardian have premiered a new video for their new song “Blood Of The Elves.” This track is from the band’s new album “The God Machine,” which will be released on September 2.

Singer Hansi Kürsch commented:

“‘Blood Of The Elves’ features a pretty heavy side that the avid fan of Blind Guardian hopefully enjoys. More than enjoys, I’d guess. Instrumentally, the track has some kind of an early Nineties appeal that blends well into the vocal parts of the opera/twist era and catapults both epochs into a new era for the band. A perfect hybrid. The chorus has some very strong sing-along vibes, despite its complexity. What else do you need? Inspired by the ‘The Witcher’ computer game series, the lyrics even reinforce the power of this banger and the clip by Dirk Behlau fits perfectly to the whole setting. Let me tell you: ‘The God Machine’ has even more to offer. And that’s no promise — that’s the ultimate truth.”

He also added:

“We didn’t want to rehash our qualities from 1995, but didn’t want to continue down this complex path forever either. ‘The God Machine’ is a new beginning for us. We’ve set a new course and gone back to certain things that we’ve neglected a bit on the last few albums.”

Blind Guardian Premiere “Secrets Of The American Gods” Music Video

“The time has come to unveil another secret: With ‘Secrets Of The American Gods’, we proudly present you the epic side of our new album that’s going to be released in September. This single edit focuses on the essence of this magnificent composition and gives you an insight into our creative work in these eventful times. The vivid construction of this song circles around its core, the monumental chorus — hopefully the ‘American Gods’ worthy. A thoroughly felicitious ear candy, in my opinion. I promise you, it’s not easy to get rid of the refrain. The tracks gets completed with the fantastic making-of-clip that Dirk Behlau created. Enjoy the moment and keep the secret: Be assured that we still haven’t played all our cards and still have some aces up our sleeves. Maybe no additional secrets but celestial surprises. Stay tuned!”

Blind Guardian Premiere “Deliver Us From Evil” Music Video

Blind Guardian have premiered a new video for their new song “Deliver Us From Evil.” You can check that out below:

Frontman Hansi Kürsch commented:

“What can I say? We’re very happy to be able to offer you a brand new song of our forthcoming album, out in September 2022. The physical single also contains the 2020 Christmas banger ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ as well as the Wacken version of ‘Violent Shadows’ as extra on the CD, to shorten the waiting time until the new album.

Whether vinyl or CD, I can assure you that this is the perfect accessory for your Christmas tree. The strictly limited vinyl can be played on all working vinyl players and has a perfect sound — in mono and stereo. Be brave and fast and get your copy as soon as possible. Vinyl is a rare resource these days…

We know that the gap between now and the album release in late 2022 is painfully long. Neither we nor our label could defy the current worldwide economic crisis. A long story short: There is no one to blame for this situation. With ‘Deliver Us From Evil’, you will get another sweet appetizer of a very intense and vivid album that will hopefully raise your joyful anticipation until our next strike. At least, it would do it for me, but luckily I already know the whole album.

Talking about anticipation, even though ‘Violent Shadows’ and ‘Deliver Us From Evil’ are indisputably fantastic tracks, rest assured: We won’t let you wait another ten months with only two songs. I promise you that you will always be blown away. Cheers to the digital era and its endless possibilities. Oh, and the album title. There is one but I won’t tell you yet. This would be giving away far too much right now.”

Hansi Kürsch On Upcoming Blind Guardian Album: “It Is By Far The Most Intense Album We Did In A Very, Very Long Time”

During a recent interview with Rock Hard Greece, Hansi Kürsch discussed the upcoming Blind Guardian album. According to him, the effort “is by far the most intense album [they have done] in a very, very long time.”

Kürsch said the following:

“As of today, we finally decided who’s going to do the mastering, which means we have finished the mixing. And I wanna hand in at least the audio stuff to the record company within the next two weeks.”

He also added:

“It is by far the most intense album we did in a very, very long time. It is, in every measure, a roller-coaster ride. There is a lot of let-your-hair-down stuff — more than I expected. There are some typical surprising BLIND GUARDIAN elements.

I’m just curious to see, really, or to hear what people will think about it. I think it’s a very, very strong album. It will surprise a lot of people.

It is straight-forward in the sense of BLIND GUARDIAN, so don’t expect a straight-forward album if you compare it to anything else. It’s not a straight-forward album at all, but it’s very straight-forward for BLIND GUARDIAN. It’s very aggressive, it’s very dark.

The composing mostly has been accomplished before corona started to happen, but you can feel that there is a lot of anger in the album. It really delivers also very catchy and positive vibes, but there is a very raw energy you will feel.”

Blind Guardian Team Up With 19Grams For “Majesty Roast” Coffee

Blind Guardian have joined forces with 19Grams to create “Majesty Roast” coffee. Fans can purchase that HERE. 19Grams commented:

“Beforehand, we had an intensive discussion about what makes a good coffee. It is important to Blind Guardian and us, as roasters, that the coffee not only tastes great, but that it is also produced responsibly. That’s why we chose a specialty coffee where the origin is clear, where the farmers are paid fairly and where the soil is not depleted. And here it is: the Majesty Roast. The Bourbon Beans have been sourced from India and bring flavours of chocolate, hazelnut, almond and spices to your cup, which gives the coffee the taste and the kick that you expect from a brilliant espresso. Crafted like a long guitar solo, roasted with skill and perseverance, this espresso is now your perfect start to the day, an after-dinner treat or a little kick whenever you want.”
