Angel Vivaldi Premieres “Eight” Music Video

Angel Vivaldi has premiered a new video for his new song “Eight.” This track is from his new EP “Away With Words, Pt. 2,” which will be released on April 7.

Vivaldi said the following about the song:

“This first single comes not only from how artists like Chick Corea, Santana and Snarky Puppy inspired me, but also from my early experiences playing music in a hispanic church ensemble back in New Jersey as a teen. Having the opportunity to use my love for early 70’s latin fusion has been both fulfilling and challenging. I learned a lot about myself as a composer and how to reinvent my phrasing in a way that is new but still authentic.”

He also added the following about the EP:

“Few words can describe what it feels like to finally share the full scope of this concept record 9 years after I started it. While the seeds I initially planted took longer to bear fruit, I’m grateful it took this long as it helped to make the grapes that much sweeter. Part 2 is an unexpected musical journey that has something on it for any lover of music.”

Angel Vivaldi Announces “Melodic Decadence” Tour

Angel Vivaldi will be playing his latest album “Synapse” in full on a summer U.S. tour with Hyvmine and Day Of Reckoning (select dates). Vivaldi commented:

“This tour will visually reflect the concept of what my newest release, Synapse, is all about. Much like the writing process, which included me painting my studio 9 different colors for each song, I plan to use the stage as a blank canvas to vividly bring the audience into that experience with me, but in a live setting. I am anxious to perform Synapse from beginning-to-end in addition to fan favorites for a night of sensory immersion they won’t soon forget. “I’m also very excited to have Hyvmine on this bill! They’re a fantastic new group featuring fellow axe-mate Al Joseph, who’s voice and chops are destined to make waves in the current music scene. Equally looking forward to having Rusty Cooley and his band Day of Reckoning on a portion of this tour as well. It’s going to be a wild ride!”

Angel Vivaldi Premieres “Serotonin” Video Feat. Nita Strauss

Angel Vivaldi has premiered a new video for his new track “Serotonin,” feat. Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper). This song is from Vivaldi‘s new album “Synapse,” which will be released on October 6.

Vivaldi commented:

“There’s a huge contrast between the video release for ‘Dopamine‘ and this one for ‘Serotonin.’ My videos are another piece of the concept album that allow me to express what each song is about cinematically. Dancing is one of the best examples of ‘Serotonin‘ working its magic – you feel good, you’re confident and the vibes are just right.

Out of all of my music videos, this was the one that required the most amount of effort to pull off. I really thought it was going to be easier… turned out to be 6 months of constant choreography practice while playing. Even though it’s not a live performance I strived to make sure I put the work in to be authentic, not just some bozo miming sloppy guitar playing while dancing. This is where my Michael Jackson influence undoubtedly shows.”

Gus G. (Firewind/Ozzy Osbourne) & Angel Vivaldi Announce “Operation Domination” Tour

Gus G. (Firewind/Ozzy Osbourne) and Angel Vivaldi have announced a co-headlining tour together. You can see statements from them, along with the dates below.

GUS G said the following:

“I’m very excited to return to the US this Fall to finally hit more markets and play for the fans that were left out on my recent Spring mini-tour. Teaming up with a talented player like Angel Vivaldi seemed like a great opportunity. We’re both stoked to bring the ‘Operation Domination’ tour to the American audiences and we will be performing our own individual sets, but also collaborating on stage together as well. We will have a great band with us that features James Paul Luna of Holy Grail (Official Page) on vocals, Alex Bent (ex-Battlecross, Testament) on drums and Jake Skylyr on bass.

“The setlist will once again be a mixed bag including songs from my solo works, Firewind, Ozzy material but some surprises as well. These shows are not to be missed. See you soon.”

Vivaldi added:

“For me this tour perfectly summarizes the evolution of modern guitar playing. To be able to share a stage with a force such as Gus is both inspiring and refreshing. I cannot wait to see the looks on people’s faces when they see what we have planned! I’m also really excited to dip into music from all my releases including the upcoming re-recordings from The Speed of Dark: Revisited, coming out this year.

“After the recent tragic events in Orlando, I’m going above and beyond to make this tour a much needed celebration of love, inspiration and positive energy. I have some exciting tricks up my sleeve that I’m anxious to unleash on this run. It’s going to be a party!”
