In Hearts Wake Team Up With Alpha Wolf For New Song “Dogma”

In Hearts Wake have teamed up with Alpha Wolf for a new song titled “Dogma.” This track is from the deluxe edition of In Hearts Wake’s latest album “Kaliyuga.“ The effort, which the group are calling the “Kaliyuga Booster Pack,“ will be available on February 11 and it will feature various bonus tracks including: “Dogma,” “War,” and “Torn In Two,” as well as live versions of “Crisis,” “Worldwide Suicide,” “Timebomb,” “Son Of A Witch,” and “Hellbringer.” The band commented:

“We set ourselves the challenge to write an entire song about dogs and had so much fun doing it. Sticking true to the theme, who better to ask to feature on ‘Dogma‘ than Alpha Wolf? Working with the dudes from Alpha Wolf was an enjoyable process. They take pride in their work and know how to have fun. Woof Woof! ‘Dogma‘ is part of our upcoming ‘Kaliyuga Booster Pack‘, which includes three brand new songs and also five live tracks from the Brisbane Tivoli — the only show thus far on the ‘Kaliyuga‘ album cycle. With the rest of the rescheduled Australia ‘Kaliyuga‘ tour finally happening in one month and it already being 80 percent sold, we absolutely can’t wait to crush stages all across the country!”

Alpha Wolf Release Lo-Fi Remix Of “Bleed 4 You”

Alpha Wolf have released a lo-fi remix of their song “Bleed 4 You.“ You can check that out below:

Guitarist Scott Simpson commented:

“The idea of this track was birthed during a gloomy lockdown afternoon. We didn’t like the idea of having a year without a new release; and although it may not be what people are expecting, I think this remix caps off the vibe of what has been a really strange year for all. So I hope everyone can find some sort of comfort in this song wherever they are in the world.”

“Working with [remixer] Mik on this was great. He really transformed the original version into something we couldn’t really think it could be. Obviously being our most melodically driven song it made the most sense to try a remix like this, and it brought out a whole new life to the song.”

Alpha Wolf Release “Spirit Breaker” Touring Documentary

Alpha Wolf have released a new touring documentary focusing on the their “Almost World Tour.” The film is titled “Spirit Breaker” and Sabian Lynch had the following to say about it:

“‘Spirit Breaker‘ is a film that almost put itself together, I was always making sure to film our touring over time but never had an end goal for it. It wasn’t until Covid19 decimated the touring world that I knew I had a story to tell as I’m sure every musician has their own. But this is our story of our highest of highs and lowest of lows during touring, documented in a mostly fun format.”

Alpha Wolf Premiere “Restricted (R18+)” Music Video

Alpha Wolf have premiered a new video for their new song “Restricted (R18+).“ This track is from the band’s new album “A Quiet Place To Die,“ which will be released on September 25. The group commented:

“The following clip contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing, Including scenes of assault, violence and suicide. Viewer discretion is advised.”

Alpha Wolf Premiere “Bleed 4 You” Music Video

Alpha Wolf have premiered a new video for their new song “Bleed 4 You.“ This track features Lizi Blanco (The Beautiful Monument) and it will appear on the band’s new album “A Quiet Place To Die,“ which is set to be released on September 25.

Guitarist Sabian Lynch commented:

“This song is a little out of our comfort zone but upon completion we feel we created something special. We’re not a band who wants to stick solely to one sound, we have a wide variety of influences and we want each song to stand up on its own.”

“We initially had written pages of lyrics for this song. It seems most people have a story of meeting the exact right person at the exact wrong time, so there was no short supply of input. However the further we delved into the song, the more apparent it came that we didn’t need pages of lyrics, just a handful of the right words. Originally the track was a lot heavier, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, but once we had the lyrical theme in mind we revisited the song and it evolved into something none of us expected.”

“Bringing Lizi in to be part of ‘Bleed 4 U” was something special. We haven’t had an outside voice sing on a song of ours for quite some time and so we were very cautious at first; however being label mates with Lizi/The Beautiful Monument as well as huge fans of her voice, it all came together so well and we couldn’t have found a better fit. We flew her down to our studio to just make it that little more personal, and once we began, we were so overwhelmed at how perfect her voice sat in the song, we knew we were onto something special.”

Alpha Wolf Premiere “Akudama” Music Video

Alpha Wolf have premiered a new video for their new song “Akudama.“ This track is from the band’s new album “A Quiet Place To Die,“ which will be released September 25.

The group commented:

“To our fans,

We have a lot of very exciting things to show you over the coming weeks, Starting with our first new single ‘Akudama’ we have just released on YouTube.

This, and our upcoming album ‘a quiet place to die’ is the culmination of 10+ people’s efforts and over a year of hard work.

While this is obviously an exciting and very important time for us, this is not the most important thing you need to hear right now.

We need to open our eyes and ears to the cries of our POC brothers and sisters.

The peaceful protest and riots in the USA are a worldwide wake up call. Never has a protest of this size and importance happened at a time where more is able to be reported and witnessed. So witness it. Learn from it.

As an Australian band, we know our country has a terrible history of racism, segregation and slavery. This racism still exists today. We cannot forget our own faults, the aboriginal and indigenous community deserves better.

Enough is enough, the world can not go back to how it was.

Be the change you wish to see.
