Lindsay Schoolcraft (ex-Cradle Of Filth, etc.) will be releasing a new album, titled “Harrowing,” on June 19. A music video for the effort’s latest single, “I Wait For You To Fall,” can be found below:

“‘Harrowing’ ushers forth a new moment in Lindsay Schoolcraft’s solo career. Thanks to Motionless in White producer Justin deBlieck co-piloting this time around in the studio, it shines with a more metallic edge than previous records.

Fusing Nu Metal, Metalcore, and Rocktronica while still including the classical elements of strings and choirs, this record offers a variety of sounds as you move from song to song, but Lindsay’s voice anchors as the centre piece that keeps the listener’s journey consistent.

Lyrically the album recounts the tale of waking up from under the spell of cruel manipulation to realizing you must somehow find the strength to escape, and that no one is coming to save you either. Each song is a chapter of awakening to anger, hopelessness, spite, pettiness, liberation, and eventual freedom and healing from grief.

Collaborators include guest harsh vocalist Krista Shipperbottom on the track ‘So Alive,’ Rocky Gray and Spencer Creaghan return again as composers along with Brian Cook. Lindsay’s own band members, guitarist Cody Johnstone and drummer Dylan Gowan also contributed greatly in shaping these songs and helping complete them.”
