Eagles Of Death Metal, Deftones, Foo Fighters, In Flames, Papa Roach, Motörhead, Five Finger Death Punch, and Marilyn Manson have all cancelled their upcoming shows following the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris. Eagles Of Death Metal, who were playing at the Bataclan during the attacks, Deftones, who were in the area when the attacks occured, and Foo Fighters have both cancelled their full European tours. In Flames have also cancelled their November 14 show in Nancy, France, Papa Roach have cancelled their November 15 show in Lille, France, and Marilyn Manson has cancelled his November 16 show in Paris. Motörhead have since postponed their November 15 show Paris, and Five Finger Death Punch have postponed their November 15 show in Strasbourg, France as well.
The terrorist attacks occurred in six locations throughout Paris, France on Friday, November 13. According to CNN, at least 129 people were killed overall, with at least 80 being slaughtered at the Bataclan music hall, where Eagles Of Death Metal were playing. The band stopped playing as soon as they heard gunfire, and headed to the exit. Terrorists then begun taking hostages, and killed them one by one. All the band members made it out alive, including Matt McJunkins, who was one of the hostages. ISIS has taken responsibility for the attack, and French president Francois Hollande said the country “will lead the fight and will be ruthless.”
