Metallica have joined forces with Vans once again to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1991 self-titled album (aka “The Black Album”) with new limited edition Sk8-Hi and Classic Slip-On shoes. The footwear, which features artwork designed by Pushead, will be available to members of the Vans Family on July 25 at 9 p.m. PST. They will also be available on Metallica.com on July 26 at 9 a.m. PST.
There’s quite a bit of Foo Fighters news to report today. First of all, the band have announced that they will releasing a new song, titled “Waiting On A War,” tomorrow (January 14) to coincide with an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!.” That track is from the band’s new album “Medicine At Midnight,” which will be released on February 5. Furthermore, the group have also teamed up with Tatenokawa to create “Hansho (Midnight)” sake. Blue and silver editions will be released on February 5 with pre-orders available HERE. On top of that, Foo Fighters have also joined forces with Vans to launch some new band-branded shoes. Those are said to be “coming soon.”
Led Zeppelin have teamed up with Vans to launch a new line of shoes. There will be two different kinds including low tops with the symbols from “Led Zeppelin IV” and high tops with the Hindenburg image from the band’s 1969 debut. Fans will be able to purchase those, as well as collaborative shirts and hats on February 22.
Metallica have teamed up with Vans yet again to create two new styles of shoes, apparel, and accessories, which will all be available on February 16. The band posted the following:

The latest installment from the long-time partnership marks the third collaboration between us and the iconic Southern California company.
Available for purchase in the Metallica Store and on the shelves at your favorite retailer this Friday, February 16th are two new styles of shoes. Up first is the Sk8-Hi Reissue in full grain leather upper and tonal deco-stitched Sidestripe with an etched Metallica logo on the sidewall with a wrapped version on the quarter panels. The Classic Slip-On features an all-over logo print across the vamp and is finished with the same engraved logo on the sidewalls. A short sleeve t-shirt and trucker hat will also be available.
