GoFundMe Launched For 3TEETH Drummer Nick Rossi Following Recent Theft

Thieves recently broke into 3TEETH drummer Nick Rossi’s car and made off with his laptops, hard drives, in-ear monitors, passport, midi keyboard, GoPro cameras and more. You can help him out by donating via GoFundMe.

Rossi commented:

“On Saturday February 20th, my backpack was stolen from my car. Anyone who knows me, knows this backpack contains my whole life in it. My backpack holds everything I need to keep my world spinning: two laptops I use to keep what little income I have left coming in via drum lessons and audio visual work, as well as all of my music production equipment, software, and programs. Also gone are my in-ear monitors, headphones, 3 GoPro cameras, passport, midi keyboard, several hard drives, notebooks full of ideas, plans, song charts, aspirations, inspirations…gone. My stomach still twists into knots at the feeling of this thief violating my space and belongings.

In an instant I felt the last connection I had left to my career had been severed. Being a musician whose primary role in the music industry is live performances and touring, I was already working extremely hard to remain active behind the scenes in new roles while my livelihood suffered the standstill, and intense uncertainty brought on by COVID-19. This theft was salt in an already gaping wound. It added severe insult to injury. It was a swift, malicious kick while I was already down.

I filed a police report with the LAPD, though they all but assured me the backpack was gone for good. I also hit a wall with insurance that ruled out filing a claim. I spent Monday evening listing out what I had lost and adding up the cost to replace it all. When I finished my stomach sank as I looked at a figure approaching $5,000.

Exhausting every other resource, I have created this campaign to humbly ask for your help. 100% of proceeds go directly to helping me replace what was stolen in the shortest amount of time so I can get back to work. I know times are tough for many of us right now, so please do not feel any obligation to me. Please only consider supporting me if you can afford to do so.”

In Motive (Born Of Osiris, Etc.) Premiere Two New Songs “Revival” & “The Disconnect”

Awhile back, Sumerian Records put out a call to find a singer for a new project, and now that group has officially been revealed. They are called In Motive, and they feature guitarist Lee McKinney (Born Of Osiris), guitarist Nick Rossi (ex-City In The Sea), drummer Conor White, and vocalist Devin Barrus. You can watch a new video for their track “Revival” and find a stream of “The Disconnect” below. Nick Sampson produced the instrumentals and played bass on the band’s debut album, while Korn’s Jonathan Davis produced the vocals. Rossi said the following about that:

“We’re super comfortable with Nick Sampson. He’s really tight with us and even played bass on the record. We’re all Korn fans, and working with Jonathan was just incredible. To be able to hang with him and get insights into what he’s seen throughout his years in the industry and hear his opinion on our songs was unbelievable. He took our vision and helped us get to where we need to be.”
