During Nine Inch Nails‘ December 7 show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA, the band were joined onstage by Trent Reznor’s wife, Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, for performances of How To Destroy Angels’ “Parasite,“ “Welcome Oblivion,” and “A Drowning.“ You can see some footage of that below:

Nine Inch Nails and How To Destroy Angels bandmates Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have announced that their previously released cover of the theme for John Carpenter‘s “Halloween” will be available on limited edition orange vinyl on October 26. Reznor commented:

“I clearly remember my friends and I at 13 years old conning our parents into letting us see Halloween when it came out in 1978.

We left the theater forever changed. We were damaged and scarred, with the shit genuinely scared out of us and that theme stuck firmly in our heads.

John Carpenter, it’s your fault that I turned out the way I did.”

Carpenter’s “Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998“ will be released on October 20.
