Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Another Day’s Armor

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Another Day’s Armor.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

ANOTHER DAY’S ARMOR: Another Day’s Armor is a Rock / Alternative Metal band from New York. Combining the huge, mainstream sound of arena rock with borderline metal instrumental work. Coming up in a time where very few bands put any emphasis into their image and persona, ADA pride themselves on standing out from the crowd both visually, and musically. With an image reminiscent of a time where rock was on top of the music world, Another Day’s Armor refuses to be just another “faceless” band, wanting their fans to feel connected to every member. Another Day’s Armor is a movement for the future of rock.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

ANOTHER DAY’S ARMOR: Everyone in the band has different influences but as a whole, I’d say we take inspiration from other bands who have successfully blended that hard rock/ metal sound together so well. Modern bands such as: Avenged Sevenfold, Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria. And classic bands such as: Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains. Just to name a few of course.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

ANOTHER DAY’S ARMOR: Our latest release is our newest single and music video “Death Investing.” People should check it out because we feel that it is a good introduction to our sound as a band. While on the heavier side, it has high energy, a very catchy chorus, and is just a taste of what’s to come from us.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

ANOTHER DAY’S ARMOR: People can expect to see a high energy, rock n’ roll show. Even if you decide our music isn’t for you, I guarantee you will have a good time while we play.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

ANOTHER DAY’S ARMOR Hopefully touring regularly and consistently growing a getting bigger as a band. We have every intention of traveling the world with our music and one day headlining the biggest rock and metal festivals.
