It looks like Vio-lence are planning to record a new EP. Guitarist Phil Demmel confirmed the news on the “Talk Toomey” podcast: “I’m writing a new VIO-LENCE record. We’re about to sign a deal to do a five-song EP. So we’ll see how that goes and when that can come out.” [via Blabbermouth]

Vio-lence played their first two comeback shows at the Oakland Metro in Oakland, CA on April 13-14. You can see footage from those concerts below. The band will also be playing a number of other shows in the coming months.
