Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc.) and Empty Streets have premiered a new video for their song “Fracas.“ That track was previously released through Weinman‘s Patreon and proceeds from it will go towards his Party Smasher Sanctuary. Weinman previously commented:
“I’ve been trying to figure out a way to work on something with Aaron [Thompson, of Empty Streets] for a while now and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to throw a weird one at him, in the spirit of Halloween, while creating more content for my Patreon. Patreon has been such an amazing way to keep me making tunes while also helping me with the ever-growing expenses associated with taking care of approximately 75 farm animal rescues with my wife and kids.”
Ben Weinman (Suicidal Tendencies, The Dillinger Escape Plan) has been recruited to score a new film titled “Red 48.” That movie stars Tyrese Gibson, John Malkovich, and Michael Jai White and The Hollywood Reporter shared the following description of it:
“Gibson will play Kyle Snowden, a troubled former Marine turned child protective service officer who must save an immigrant child from a dangerous criminal who has trapped them and other hostages inside a convenience store. Adding more power to the keg: The store is owned by the Snowden’s stepfather, Sam Safty, being played by Malkovich. White plays Sparks, the Safty’s no-nonsense bodyguard and confidant.”

Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc.), who runs an animal rescue with his wife, will be featured on a new episode of “The Wizard Of Paws.” The show will air on BYU tomorrow (April 15).
Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc.) is now streaming his solo song “It Is Nothing” via YouTube. The track was previously only available through his Patreon.
“‘It Is Nothing,’ was the first solo track released through my Patreon. Until now, this song was only available to those who signed up for one of the tiers offered through the site. Since then I have released 2 other songs and will continue to release my music exclusively to my Patreon supporters.
This Patreon was created to motivate me to continue to make stuff despite my recent retirement from being a full-time musician. All proceeds will go towards taking care of the animals at a rescue my wife, and I run out of our home.
If you would like to sign up, we would be forever grateful, and so would our little friends. You can do so by going here:
This song goes out to all the hunters, hunting for life who can’t spend any money but are still selling rice. Maybe living for the weekends, but those days never come? You’ll say on your deathbed that it was all dumb. This song is a meditation and features the beautiful Violin work of Earl Maneein. Use it to free yourself of your chains.
Thank you to the moon and back Oleg Rooz for creating these kick-ass visuals to my music. (http://olegrooz.com)
