HOL1D4Y, aka Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday, will be releasing a new album, titled “Topology,” on September 25. A video for the effort’s first single, “Veridream,” can be found below:

The record initially started as an instrumental project with Holiday having also brought on keyboardist Jesse Nason to shape the sound. However, after the guitarist was struck by a car while riding his bike, the compositions took on a new form in his mind. He said the following about that:
“What surprised me was that they stopped feeling like instrumental pieces. They seemed prepped for a story. Once I realized that, the words came quickly. That’s when I knew it was time to step into this new role — I needed to be the one to tell these stories.”
