Sumo Cyco have premiered a new video for their new song “Shivers.” This track is from the band’s new album “Neon Void,” which will be released on October 24.
Vocalist Skye Sweetnam commented on the single:
“‘Shivers‘ captures that gut feeling you get when something feels wrong even if you can’t explain why. It’s a physical reaction beyond your control, no matter how much you try.”
She also added the following about the album:
“The neon void is temptation and escape. It’s both maze and mirror. This record was written when I felt trapped in darkness and needed to build my way back toward something vibrant and alive. We’ve always bent genres, but this time, it wasn’t just about experimenting, it was about refining. We’ve never put more time into a record than this one.”
