Acres have premiered a new video for their new song “Bloodhost.” This track is from the band’s new album “The Host,” which will be released on May 2.
Vocalist Ben Lumber commented on the single:
“‘Bloodlust‘ is a track about a toxic relationship between you and addiction, we call ‘The Host‘. It’s about giving in and giving up to it. You know it’s bad for you, but you can’t live without it. It’s the perfect way to start the record, a first peek into the downward spiral of letting the host in and letting it consume you.”
He also added the following about the album:
“‘The Host‘ represents a bold step in a new direction for us as a band, we’ve always pushed ourselves to evolve with every album and never write the same record twice. This time the process was unlike anything we’ve done before, working with Landon Tewers brought a fresh perspective and added a new flair to our sound that we’re really excited about!”
