A DJ and production manager involved in the tour commented:

“I think that nu-metal is one of the most impactful subgenres of heavy metal to ever exist in terms of how it rippled through the pop-culture of the time.

It’s already been about 25 years since bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit were all over MTV and if every other culturally significant genre of music from the past 5 decades can have its own dance night why not nu-metal?

As someone who loved listening to these bands as a kid and enjoys going out with friends as an adult it just makes perfect sense for us to create a ‘nu’ space where these bands and the genre can be celebrated.”
