Cattle Decapitation commented:

“We are ecstatic to be able to finally announce a US tour after 2 years of inactivity in the United States due to the pandemic! Our latest album and what we consider to be the bands’ finest hour in our entire 25 year history, ‘Death Atlas‘, will finally get its due in the states. Before things shut down, we had nailed down what we felt was our best live set we had ever done and had played it in Australia, New Zealand and Japan but were cut off before we could bring it to the states after you all had fully digested it. Well, we’re happy to say we’ll be taking some time out of our busy writing schedule to do this album some justice LIVE starting this January, 2022. We’ll be bringing along some bands whose names fit nicely in the aesthetic of ‘Death Atlas‘ including The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Creeping Death and Extinction A.D! We ALL deserve everything that’s coming! DEATH… AT LAST!”

Extinction A.D. Premiere New Song “Chaos”

Extinction A.D. have premiered a new song titled “Chaos.” This track is from the band’s new EP, “Chaos, Collusion, Carnage & Propaganda,“ which is set to be released on November 5 via Unique Leader Records. The group said the following about the effort:

“While the music world stood still throughout the COVID lockdown, the real world moved on in so many crazy ways and that’s what spawned this EP. People showed their true colors, both corporate and authoritarian powers exerted more control, lives were lost, brains were softened and both tension and anger mounted. That gave us an even more visceral sound than ever on ‘Chaos, Collusion, Carnage and Propaganda‘.”

The band will be celebrating the EP’s release during a November 6 show at the Amityville Music Hall in Amityville, NY. That event will also feature: Dying Wish, Lich King, Loss Becomes, and Electrocutioner.

Thy Art Is Murder Cancel North American Tour With Fit For An Autopsy, Enterprise Earth, Etc.

Thy Art Is Murder have cancelled their headlining North American tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. The trek, which was also set to feature Fit For An Autopsy, Enterprise Earth, Aversions Crown, Une Misère and Extinction A.D., was supposed to kickoff yesterday (March 12).

Thy Art Is Murder commented:

“North America:

We are very saddened to bring the news to you today that this leg of the Human Target tour is cancelled, effective immediately.

We will keep you up to speed with future plans as more information becomes available, but given the sudden circumstances it may be some time before we can begin to make a financial recovery and commit to extensive touring options.

All of your favorite bands, now more than ever, need your support. The best and fastest way you can do this is by picking up a shirt from one of their online stores. These sorts of funds are the ones that pass through to a band the fastest and will help to keep them going through this down season, a roof over their family, and food in their children’s mouths.

We understand this infectious plague is spreading rapidly and negatively affecting more of us each and every day. We encourage all of you to look after yourselves properly, maintain hygienic practices and social distances, and pay attention to all governing and medical advisories.

We’re so sorry, we feel like we’ve let you all down but there’s nothing more we can do.

All our love, TAIM 🖤”

Despite this, the band are planning to move forward with their European tour in June:
