Oceans Premiere “If There’s A God She Has Abandoned Us” Music Video

Oceans have premiered a new video for their new song “If There’s A God She Has Abandoned Us.” This track is from the band’s new EP “Hell Is Where The Heart Is – Part III: Clarity,” which will be released on November 25. Timo Rotten commented:

“No matter how positively you try to go through life, there are times when you just feel abandoned and left alone. It seems like everything is going down the drain, so how can one not lose hope in these times right now? Previous generations seemed to give no fucks about this world and now we’re left to pick up the shards. Some people just want to watch the world burn and I’m so fed up with all of this.”

Oceans Premiere New Video For “Everything I Love Is Broken” Featuring Machine Head’s Robb Flynn

Oceans have premiered a new video for their new song “Everything I Love Is Broken.” The track, which features Machine Head’s Robb Flynn, appears on Oceans’ new EP “We Are Not Okay,“ which was released today (April 30).

Oceans vocalist/guitarist Timo Rotten commented:

“Working with Robb and all the other amazing people that contributed to this EP was an experience I will never forget. Everyone was so positive about it and we all put so much energy into this without the slightest hint of hesitation. It’s just absolutely mind-blowing to me and I couldn’t be happier about how it all turned out. Together we can make a difference and end the stigma of mental health once and for all!”

Flynn added:

“The Oceans team reached out to me with a really unique idea for a song. There was a public blog about depression that anyone could add their story to, the band partnered with the blog and took bits of peoples stories, and from that concept came the lyrics for this song.

As someone who has battled and written about depression, I know how powerful music can be to fight off the feeling. This song has a powerful message, I’m honored to be a part of this great song.”

In other news, Oceans will also be hosting a special livestream focusing on mental health on May 2. The virtual event will find the band joined by moderator and YouTuber Alex Prinz (aka Der Dunkle Parabelritter) and several guests including: Andy Dörner (Caliban), Lena Scissorhands (Infected Rain), and Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay). During the stream, fans will be able to chat with the band and will also be able to make donations for the German NPO The Ocean In Your Mind. Oceans also plan to play some acoustic renditions of tracks from “We Are Not Okay.”
