According to Blabbermouth, Metallica are planning to hit the road on a European stadium tour next year. The trek will reportedly kick off in May and will run through August. An official announcement is expected to be made in September. The group’s previously announced North American dates can be found HERE.
During Metallica’s May 9 show at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland, Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett were joined onstage by Michael Monroe (ex-Hanoi Rocks) for a performance of Monroe’s “Dead, Jail Or Rock ‘N’ Roll.” You can see footage of that below:

A new documentary on Metallica’s Cliff Burton has been shared and can be seen below. The film, which is titled “The Salvation Kingdom,” features Burton‘s older sister Connie recalling untold stories about her late brother.
