GEARS Premiere New Song “Lost Again”

GEARS have premiered a new song titled “Lost Again.” You can check that out below:

Drummer Jimmy Wooten commented:

“‘Lost Again’ is just one of those songs that I think everyone can relate to. We have all been in that situation or those situations where it seems like we’re reliving it over and over trying to find out where we’ve gone wrong and how we ended up, yet again, lost.

We neurotically replay the whole scenario in our heads and for the life of us, we can not see exactly where it went bad and led us further into our current state. It’s not all bad though.

Having the ability to objectively search for a point or points where it began to go in the wrong direction should give us the knowledge and wisdom to have the ability to apply what each situation has taught us to be better in the future.”

Gears Premiere New Song “So What?”

Gears have premiered a new song titled “So What?.” Vocalist Trip Six commented:

“When we wrote “So What?” two years ago, it was coming from my personal view on how religion has in many ways become its own sort of animal; overriding the concept of love, compassion, family. How we’ve gone from loving one another to judging each other and even fighting them based on the religion one practices or doesn’t. Family should be the religion, not the other way around. Of course, anyone who listens to the track can interpret as they wish however, that’s my take.”

Gears Share Video For Cover Of Living Colour’s “Cult Of Personality” Feat. Corey Glover

Gears have released a cover of Living Colour’s “Cult Of Personality.” The track features Corey Glover himself and an official video for it can be found below. Drummer Jimmy Wooten commented:

“‘Cult of Personality’ is a song that we always wanted to cover. That groove, that riff, the vocals, lyrical content … Everything about it has always stuck out to us and been a personal favorite. To have the opportunity to not only record a song that is important to us, but to have Corey Glover himself come in and perform on that track, it was truly a special moment. He was so easy and fun to work with and the final product is really something that we are extremely proud of”

Lajon Witherspoon (Sevendust) Guests On New GEARS Song “Tango Yankee”

Lajon Witherspoon (Sevendust) has guested on a new GEARS song titled “Tango Yankee.” You can find an official video for the track below:

Jimmy Wooten commented:

“With ‘Tango Yankee,’ we just really wanted to write something dedicated to several members of our families that have served in the Military, Law Enforcement, and First Response. We really wanted this to be special, so getting one of our favorite vocalists from one of our favorite bands was very exciting and made this track just that, special. Lajon came in and absolutely crushed the track vocally. I really love the way it turned out. Trip and LJ complimented each other so well. Put that together with Clint’s epic solo and of course, Corey at the helm, this really turned into something spectacular. I believe that the thought behind the song is something that most Americans can relate to as many of us have or have had loved ones serve. Maybe even a little something that can get us past all of our political disagreements, unify, recognize the sacrifice and just say a simple ‘Thank You’ to all those who fight for our freedom, protect us and keep us safe.”
