Bloodlet Stream New Song “Choking On The Peat”

Bloodlet are streaming a new song titled “Choking On The Peat” via Revolver. You can check that out HERE. The track is from the band’s new EP “Viper In Hand,” which will be released in digital outlets on December 20 and on 10″ etched vinyl on January 17. Scott Angelacos commented:

“‘Choking On The Peat‘ focuses on the notion of death as art. If you assume that life is precious then the climax of life, death, must be the most precious of all. The song considers the idea that this divine moment in time should be captured for eternity giving everlasting life at the moment of death. The psychotic perspective of ‘Choking On The Peat‘ arises from the songs compulsion to capture this moment.”

Bloodlet To Release New EP “Viper In Hand”

Bloodlet will be releasing a new two-song EP titled “Viper In Hand” in digital outlets on December 20 and on 10″ etched vinyl on January 17. The title track can be streamed via Decibel.

Vocalist Scott Angelacos said the following about the new song:

“The song is about summoning Astaroth, the Duke of Hell, in an attempt to manipulate him to destroy perceived enemies. We end up summoning the unholy trinity… It ends horribly like most of our songs.”

He also added:

“We have actually been locked in the studio for most of the past year throwing riffs around trying to find new Bloodlet songs. ‘Viper…‘ came together quickly and I think it really captures where we are right now. I’m stoked it’s the first new song to come out.”
