Dying Light have premiered a new song titled “Dust.” This track is from the band’s new album, “The Wicked Crow,” which will be released on April 23.
The group commented on the single:
“The lyrics paint a tense, cinematic scene centered on a person holding lethal power in a moment of emotional emptiness. An emotional plea gives way to a tense exchange. The victim recognizes the assailant as an empty vessel but also recognizes that outside powers may yet intervene. For one person everything is turned to nothing in one lethal moment. Is it the killer or the victim who was killed?”
They also added the following about the album:
“This particular album was meant to be heavy with some drop tunings while holding on to our melody and hooks. We hope to plant an ear bug in every song. The lyrical content is always important. We try to tell a story in every song.”
