Thursday commented:
“Our hearts have never been fuller than when we toured ‘Full City Devolución’ this year. It was a great experience to revisit old songs and old friends. After an extremely triumphant show in Woodstock, we thought that it was time to move onto the next thing BUT then we saw all your messages about how you wanted more, so who are we to reply no to the people we love the most! They say that everything goes in three’s and this will be the third and final chapter of ‘FCD’ touring in the states. Every single venue we are playing is laced with tradition and has deep personal meaning to us. We have somehow convinced one of our favorite bands of all time – @titusandronicusofficial to join us on ALL shows. New Jersey in the house! We are also going to be doing VIP for the first time on this run and you can read more about that (and some special treats at some of the shows) by swiping right! We cannot believe that we get to tour with Titus AND we cannot wait for you to lose our minds when you check out the next slide! We cannot wait to rock these two set shows one last time but most importantly, we cannot wait to play for YOU. Artist pre-sales start at noon today (pw is jetblacknewyear) and you can find more info on our municipal board meeting at SOUNDRINK.CO/THURSDAY
Momma – we’re coming home. We received so many messages asking why we hadn’t brought ‘Full City Dev’ home to New Jersey and specifically the world famous Starland Ballroom. Here is why! We made a promise to ourselves that if we were going to play Starland again, then we needed to make it the best Thursday show there ever! That’s not an easy promise to keep and it took a lot of time to create the perfect night but we believe we are more than fulfilling it when we perform FCD at Starland on January 22nd. Not only is Thursday playing two sets BUT we also have Titus Andronicus and Quicksand along for the ride. We are awestruck that @quicksand are our date for the big homecoming dance at Starland Ballroom on January 22nd! Let’s say that AGAIN. Titus Andronicus / Quicksand / Two Set Thursday. Steal the money from your grandmother’s purse, pawn your wedding ring, hold up a bank* aka do whatever it takes to be there for what we think will be the most defining concert of our lives. *please don’t do anything illegal!”
