The band commented:
“We’re thrilled to announce that our new album “Genotype” will be released on January 23rd via Kscope and is now available for pre-order! To celebrate, you can now check out our second single, ‘At The Edge of Winter’, featuring the amazing Charlotte Wessels . The music video was once again shot by our very own Remko Tielemans.
‘Genotype’, our first album in nearly 10 years, will be available as digipak CD, coloured LP variants in gatefold or digitally – pre-order your copy now!
Serving as the conceptual counterpart to 2016’s “Phenotype”, “Genotype” is not a continuation but a rebirth. For nearly a decade, fans speculated about its existence, but what arrives now is not a relic of unfinished ideas – it’s something entirely new, written from scratch and once again self-produced. It distils the essence of the band’s DNA into eight new songs, mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus). Lyrically, the album speaks to the unheard – introverts, outsiders, and those navigating internal worlds that often go unseen, standing as an ode to authenticity and resilience.”
