The first set of bands have been revealed for next year’s Wacken Open Air festival. The event will take place in Wacken, Germany on July 31 to August 3 and it will feature the following: Scorpions, Amon Amarth, In Extremo, Blind Guardian, Mayhem (40th anniversary set), Pain, Beast In Black, Watain (“Lawless Darkness” set), Bury Tomorrow, Blues Pills, Knorkator, Sonata Arctica, Motionless In White, Unleash The Archers, Sick Of It All (“Scratch The Surface” 30th anniversary set), The Warning, Red Fang, The Black Dahlia Murder, Ankor, Primordial, Flotsam And Jetsam (old school set), Xandria, SOiL (“Scars” set), Emil Bulls, Vio-lence, Wolf, Exumer, Vreid, (“Sognametal” 30th anniversary set), Brutus, Ignea, Futur Palace, John Coffey, and Asagraum.
