Slipknot Tentatively Planning To Release New Album In Spring 2022

During an interview with Lou Brutus of HardDrive Radio, Corey Taylor revealed that Slipknot are tentatively planning to release their new album in spring 2022. The frontman says he is redoing vocals on one song at the moment and that he will be “punching up” several others. He also added:

“The goal right now — and I don’t wanna talk out of turn — the goal is to get it ready for mix [in] January so we can get it out two or three months after.”

“We were able to really kind of pull off something crazy and now we’re about [10%] away from the album being finished. It’s really good; I’m really, really stoked on it. I actually like this one more than I like ‘We Are Not Your Kind‘, and I loved ‘We Are Not Your Kind‘.”
