Audience Members Throw Bottles And Branches At Machine Gun Kelly During Aftershock Festival

As previously reported, Machine Gun Kelly recently made headlines after insulting Slipknot onstage and feuding with Corey Taylor on social media. Since then, rock and metal fans have been trying to make him pay for his disrespect. The rapper turned rocker was booed restlessly during his September 25 performance at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY and it looks like things still weren’t going good for him during his October 9 performance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA. According to MetalSucks, he was greeted with more boos and middle fingers during the event and was even pelted with empty bottles and tree branches. Machine Gun Kelly told the crowd the following about his decision to play the festival:

“Mixed opinions. I love you so much. This morning I was like, ‘Do we get on the plane and go to this?’ I was sitting there thinking about the last festival we did where this 10-year-old got her poster ripped up just for liking me. I’m doing this show for her and everyone who came to see us.”
