Chester Bennington’s early band Grey Daze were previously working on an album of re-recorded tracks before the Linkin Park frontman’s tragic death and the effort, which is titled “Amends,” is now set to be released on April 10. A video for the record’s second single, “Sickness,” can be found below. That track features Helmet‘s Page Hamilton and Sean Dowdell had the following to say about it:
“This is loosely based on a true story from when Chester was 15-years-old. He was being bullied at school and one day suffered a real beating. That was the day I assumed a role as protector and almost older brother figure to Chester that has lasted since, even after his passing.”
In addition to Hamilton, the album will also feature Chester’s son Jaime, Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” Shaffer, Bush’s Chris Traynor, Breaking Benjamin’s Jasen Rauch, and Chester’s Dead By Sunrise bandmate Ryan Shuck (Adema, Julien-K). Here’s the track listing:
