Ace Frehley Parts Ways With Solo Band, Recruits Members Of Gene Simmons’ Backing Group

Ace Frehley (ex-KISS) has apparently parted ways with his solo band, which most recently featured Richie Scarlet, Chris Wyse, and Scot Coogan. He will now be moving forward with members of Gene Simmons’ backing band, which recently featured Philip Shouse, Ryan Cook, Jeremy Asbrock, and Christopher Williams. Frehley told “The Cassius Morris Show” the following:

“I’m changing the lineup in my band. I’m actually gonna start working with the band that backed up Gene [on his recent solo tours]. I worked with them in Australia, and they also did eight shows with me in Japan. And I realized that… I think they were better than my current lineup, so I’ve decided to make a change. They’re younger and more hungry.”
