During their August 4 set at the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany, Megadeth were joined onstage by their former guitarist Marty Friedman for performances of “Trust,“ “Tornado Of Souls,“ Symphony Of Destruction,” and “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due.“ You can see some footage of that below:
Megadeth recently performed “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,” “We’ll Be Back,” and “Symphony Of Destruction” on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation L.A. Invasion.” You can see footage of that below:
Several Megadeth singles have obtained new gold/platinum certifications from the RIAA. Among them are “Symphony Of Destruction,“ which has gone platinum, “Peace Sells,” which has gone gold, and “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,“ which has gone gold. The band were presented with plaques following their August 24 set in Irvine, CA.
Troy Sanders (Mastodon, etc.), Dave Davidson (Revocation, etc.), Pete Griffin (Dethklok, etc.), and Frank Godla (Nitesoil, etc) recently performed a quarantine cover of Megadeth‘s “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due” as part of the latest edition of Metal Injection‘s “Slay At Home” series.
