Venues have premiered a new video for their new song “Whydah Gally.“ This track is from the band’s new album “Solace,” which will be released on August 27. Vocalist Robin commented:

“‘Whydah Gally‘ was actually one of my favorite songs on ‘Solace‘ from the start! It’s full of power and takes you on a stormy journey, from the first few seconds, on which you can only get off at the end. The story behind ‘Whydah Gally‘ is this. I said to the rest of the band that I really wanted to write a pirate song. Shortly afterwards, Valentin did the instrumentals and Lela and I started the lyrical story.”

Venues Premiere “Uncaged Birds” Video

Venues have premiered a new video for their new song “Uncaged Birds.“ This track is from the band’s new album “Solace,” which will be released on August 27. Co-vocalist Robin said the following:

“‘Uncaged Birds‘ is a very special single for me as it is the first song that we wrote and recorded with our new members Lela and Valentin. It was our internal proof that our new set-up works perfectly and just makes more fun than ever before! Thematically, the track is about an unhappy relationship, from which one is crushed and narrowed until one finally breaks out of it.”

Venues Premiere “Rite Of Passage” Video

Venues have premiered a NSFW video for their new song “Rite Of Passage.“ This track is from their new album “Solace,” which will be released on August 27. Robin Baumann commented:

“We wanted to be more metal. There were some pop sensibilities of ‘Aspire‘ that we wanted to replace with rather the opposite. 2020 showed all of us how much the band is helping us keep our sanity. Almost the whole band went through minor or medium crises since the release of our debut. Relationships went sour, things ended and began. In times like these, our second album was the light at the end of the tunnel. Something we all could look forward to. Our music held our heads above water.”
