Ritual Dictates Share Music Video For New Song “Aqua Tofana” Featuring Unleash The Archers’ Brittney Slayes

Ritual Dictates (Revocation, ex-3 Inches Of Blood) have premiered a new video for their new song “Aqua Tofana.” This track features Brittney Slayes (Unleash The Archers) and it will appear on the band’s new album “No Great Loss,” which is set to be released on October 7. Guitarist/vocalist Justin Hagberg commented:

“The story of Giulia Tofana and her concoction was only just recently brought to my attention. True crime is a guilty pleasure, so naturally, one would get excited to hear about a poisoner who confessed to having her hands in the deaths of more than 600 men. It seemed only fitting to write a song about her. It was an honour working with Brittney Slayes, and a relief because she was the only person I had in mind for ‘Aqua Tofana‘, and I hadn’t a Plan B if she was unavailable. She’s an incredible singer, and one of the most professional musicians I’ve ever worked with.”

Ritual Dictates (Revocation, Ex-3 Inches Of Blood) Premiere “Goth & Exhausted” Music Video

Ritual Dictates (Revocation, ex-3 Inches Of Blood) have premiered a new video for their new song “Goth & Exhausted.” This track is from the band’s new album “No Great Loss,” which will be released on October 7. Justin Hagberg commented:

“‘Goth And Exhausted‘ is without a doubt the most fun I’ve ever had writing lyrics. My wife and I wrote them together during the pandemic, which were quite depressing and frustrating times for everyone. Anyway, what stared as merely conjuring some light amidst the darkness ended with the both of us in absolute fucking hysterics. The lyrics pretty much wrote themselves. I mean, who WASN’T goth and exhausted during the pandemic?”

Ritual Dictates (Revocation, Ex-3 Inches Of Blood) Premiere New Song “Burn The Widow”

Ritual Dictates (Revocation, ex-3 Inches Of Blood) have premiered a new song titled “Burn The Widow.” This track is from the band’s new album “No Great Loss,” which will be released on October 7.

Justin Hagberg commented:

“These unsettling and depressing times contributed to the change in Ritual Dictates’ sound. That, and working full time graveyard shifts in a crematorium during a global pandemic. And through it all I listened to an abundance of music, drunk what seemed to be bottomless wine, and wrote ‘No Great Loss‘.

‘No Great Loss‘ opens with ‘Burn The Widow‘. It feels appropriate to premiere this song first, mainly because it captures much of the vast musical influences heard throughout the album. It’s also the shortest song on this record, which makes it less tedious for someone who can’t bear more than 3:52 of our music.”
