In a new press release, which you can see below, Immortal discussed their split with Abbath. They said the split was ultimatley due to Abbath’s “personal problems.” Immortal’s new album will be out next year, and Abbath’s solo debut will be released on January 22.
It looks like Immortal will be continuing on, despite recent trademark disputes, and Abbath’s departure. Demonaz and Horgh have already begun working on new material, and have issued the following press release on Facebook:
