Call Of The Void have decided to call it quits. The band will play their final show at the Denver Hex Fest in Denver, CO on September 7.
The group commented:
“Call Of The Void is done.
We had to make a really tough decision. If we can’t put 100% behind our art, then it’s not fair to you or ourselves to keep this going.
We are very proud of what we have released into the world, this project was from the heart and meant everything to us.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us along these last 8 years. This business isn’t easy, so if you listened, bought something, toured with us or even let us sleep on your floor, you helped make this one of the greatest experiences of our lives.
We especially want to thank Andy Patterson, Drew Juergens, Blake Harrison and Ethan Lee McCarthy. We could’t have done it without you..
Love, Call Of The Void.
Had a lot of inquires about LP’s for sale. If anyone wants a copy of the remaining LP’s they are up for dirt cheap on our bandcamp page. We’ll put the remaining merch up soon.
Call Of The Void have premiered a new song titled “God Hunts.” This track is from the band’s new album “Buried In Light,” which will be released on May 10. Nathan Siegrist commented:
“This song is about forced religious indoctrination of at risk people/children. A tool used to maintain numbers in religious organizations, especially in small outsider groups. How families break the minds of their children to strip them of their individuality for self serving purposes. ‘God is harvesting the mind.’”
Call Of The Void have premiered a lyric video for their new song “ReDeath.” This track is from the band’s new album “Buried In Light,” which will be released on May 10. Gordon Koch commented:
“This song is a full step into the evolution of our sound. We wanted to create an anthem of blind rage so we pushed ourselves musically and teased with black-metal overtones.”
Call Of The Void have premiered a new song titled “Living Ruins.” This track is from the band’s new album “Buried In Light,” which will be released on May 10. Gordon Koch said the following about the record:
“This is a concept record on what drives people to walk away from everything, what drives them to blind servitude, isolation, and suicide in a seemingly ‘perfect’ world. Each song serves as a vignette into the events that push you over the edge and push you away from society as a whole. We are speaking from the heart, from personal experiences, the study of modern apocalypse cults and the people affected by them.”
