Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) Says Asesino Will Release A New Album This Year

During a recent interview with Heavy New York, Dino Cazares (Fear Factory, etc.) said Asesino will “definitely” be releasing a new album this year. He said the following:

“We have to have it out by summer. We’re working on it. We’re pretty far along. But we’ve gotta have it done quick, because Tony’s gonna be on tour with STATIC-X coming up. So, we’ve gotta get it done quick.”

Aside from that, the guitarist also said he is “still working” on material for his new solo album and that he is hoping it will be released soon.

Asesino To Celebrate Dino Cazares’ 52nd Birthday At Los Angeles Concert

Asesino (Fear Factory, etc.) have announced that they will be celebrating Dino Cazares’ 52nd birthday with a show at The Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on September 1. Thanatology, Lepra, Darksun and Horsemen Of The Apocalypse will serve as support. On another note, the band are also booked for the Force Fest in Teotihuacán, Mexico.

Asesino Announce May 2018 Mexican Dates

Asesino (Fear Factory, etc.) have announced three Mexican shows. This news comes after the band had to cancel their Knotfest México performance last year, due to Dino Cazares’ (Fear Factory) broken leg. Here’s the dates:

05/18 Guadalajara – Foro Indepencia
05/19 Monterrey – Cafe Iguana
05/20 Mexico City – Carpas Astros

Dino Cazares Breaks Fibula, Asesino Cancel Knotfest Mexico Appearance

Asesino have cancelled their Knotfest Mexico appearance due to guitarist Dino Cazares (also of Fear Factory) breaking his fibula. The band said the following [translated from Spanish]:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Asesino will not be able to play this year at Knotfest in Mexico. Asesino’s guitarist has a fractured right leg for an accident. We apologize and promise that we will make it up to you. Viva Mexico Cabrones!”
