Antony Hämäläinen To Sing For Armageddon On Upcoming Tour

Antony Hämäläinen (ex-Nightrage) will be fronting Christopher Amott’s (ex-Arch Enemy) band Armageddon, for their upcoming U.S. tour. This news comes after it was revealed that Matt Hallquist left the band, due to “personal reasons.”

Armageddon Part Ways With Matt Hallquist

Armageddon, the band featuring ex-Arch Enemy guitarist, Christopher Amott, have parted ways with vocalist, Matt Hallquist, due to”persone reasons.” The band have also said that anyone interested in becoming their new vocalist can submit their material via email or Facebook.

They posted the following on Facebook:

We have some unfortunate news: due to personal reasons our singer Matt Hallquist has been forced to step down from the role as lead vocalist in Armageddon. We thank Matt for his time and commitment to the band. This means we are once again searching for a singer. We are looking for a growler/screamer with great stage presence to tour with us starting next year. If interested, please send us samples of your singing and clear photos or videoclips of your performance.

Material can be submitted right here on our Facebook page
or to:

Thank you.”

In other news, the band will release their new album, Captivity & Devourment, on January 26.
