Anti-Flag Premiere “Hate Conquers All” Music Video, Reveal Details For New Album “20/20 Vision”

Anti-Flag have premiered a new video for their new song “Hate Conquers All” via Kerrang!. This track is from the band’s new album “20/20 Vision,” which will be released on January 17.

Chris #2 commented:

“Love Trumps Hate. On the surface, this well packaged, well meaning sentiment does what it needs to… In the face of so much fear, inequality and despair, it provides hope. Hope that the path that we’re on isn’t an endless one, but one that can be defeated. And honestly I believe in the premise. That if you put love and positivity out into the universe it does combat negativity and it does come back or return, not always to us directly, but to someone. But the policies of Donald Trump and his administration are not just hateful. They’re racist, islamaphobic, homophobic, transphobic, and bigoted. It is a false equivalency. The language exists for a reason. Our focus should not only be on their hatred, but their outward and unabashed fascism. We shouldn’t just try to kill these things with love and kindness. We should be in the streets daily, demanding an end to racial, social, and economic injustice. The video for ‘Hate Conquers All’ is a visual experience of what a continuation of Trump policy and rhetoric holds. Climate devastation, racist/xenophobic immigration law and endless conflicts of interest serving his businesses and their partners. Watch the empire fall. Watch the nation dissolve. With our backs against the wall.”

Anti-Flag Premiere “Digital Blackout” Video

Anti-Flag have premiered a new video for “Digital Blackout.” This song is from the band’s latest album “American Fall.” The clip, which was directed by Jake Stark, features a spoken essay from a former intelligence analyst for the U.S. Air Force. The band commented:

“Lyrically, ‘Digital Blackout’ is about a modern issue – the specific PTSD that drone operators and drone specialists come back from war with is unprecedented. It’s a modern phenomenon, a by-product of systematically ramping up drone warfare from Bush to Obama to now Trump. It’s not clean and quick and clinical. It’s war. And it’s victims are endless.”

Anti-Flag, Stray From The Path, The White Noise, & Sharptooth Announce 2018 Tour

Anti-Flag, Stray From The Path, The White Noise, and Sharptooth will be heading out on the “‘Silence=Violence Tour” next year. You can find the dates for that below. Anti-Flag’s new album “American Fall“ will be available on November 3.

Anti-Flag commented:

“The mission of the Trump regime has been clear from day one, the normalization of bigotry. Dangerous rhetoric has become dangerous policy that has put countless in harms way. It is the responsibility of all to be on the side of the marginalized and scapegoated and that is the aim of the Silence=Violence Tour.

No longer can we allow people to sit on the sidelines in the fight for social and economic justice. Inaction makes you complicit. If oppressed people demanding space and dignity in our society is what is making you uncomfortable, perhaps it is because you are a bigot or fascist? We must spread empathy, not apathy. Our aim is to do that at every show we play across the US.

Our society can maintain a status quo of violence and hatred, go back to masking that same hatred and violence in neoliberal wrapping paper, or forge a new society that is inclusive, egalitarian and just for all. It is our optimistic view, even in these dark times, that the latter is within reach.

Each band on this tour is predicated upon an ethic of caring about more than just themselves. To carve out a few hours in a day, in each city, where we can be comfortable in our own skin… free from racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, bigotry of any kind… this is not an opportunity that any of us tread upon lightly. We’re excited to throw these small celebrations of unity in hopes that it can leave all that attend with a sense of community and organization that will help fuel our collective ability to create positive change and leave things better than we found them.”
