The Black Queen, the synthwave project featuring Greg Puciato (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan, ex-Better Lovers, etc.), have recruited drummer Chris Pennie (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan) for their spring tour. That trek will find the band celebrating the 10th anniversary of “Fever Daydream.”

The Black Queen commented:

“Some of you will understand the significance of this. Please explain it to those who don’t. He’s been with us behind the scenes for a while, but starting in Boston, with the exception of Montreal and Toronto, and for all shows going forward after that, we will have a new member onstage with us. His name is Chris Pennie. Yes he will be playing drums.”

This news comes after the band recently recruited Danny Lohner (ex-Nine Inch Nails, etc.).
